International Travel Policies

Travel to Iran:  Conducting research, attending or speaking at a conference will require an authorization in the form of a license from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). An OFAC license can take nine months or longer to receive, so please contact the University Export Control Program as soon as possible for more information.

Required actions in Advance of International Travel
These requirements apply to all University of Arizona (UA) faculty, staff, students and volunteers who travel internationally as part of University of Arizona research, education, service or employment.

1. Complete a Travel Authorization Form with your department

3. Make sure all necessary approvals are obtained prior to international travel (Risk Management, Export Controls, etc.).
